A number of scholarships are made available each year at secondary and primary level.
Please note: Scholarships that are currently open for application are displayed below with an active link. If a scholarship does not have an active link, please revisit this page during the application period (from 1 December) as stated. Click on a scholarship (below) to download the application form; print off and return to Caulfield Grammar School by the specified closing date. Scholarships for primary levels are offered at Wheelers Hill Campus and Malvern Campus. Scholars are expected to remain at the school, with scholarships tenable to Year 12 - subject to successfully maintaining standards, as confirmed through participation in the scholarship testing program at Year 9 level.
Scholarships for secondary levels are offered at Caulfield Campus and Wheelers Hill Campus.
Academic Scholarships Open to new and current students entering Year 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 or 11 in the next year. Based on achievement in an examination and an interview with the Principal. Applications close - 18 February 2009. Examinations on Sat. 28 February 2009. A $70 application fee is required.
Founder's Scholarships (General Excellence) Open to girls and boys who do not currently attend Caulfield Grammar School. Round 1 is open for students entering Year 7 to 11 in the following year and Round 2 for Year 8 to 11. Based on the ability to demonstrate achievement in several different fields of endeavour relating to school life and an interview with the Principal. Applications close - 4 March 2009 (Round 1) and 12 August 2009 (Round 2).
W S Morcom Rural Boarding Scholarships For Caulfield Campus only. Open to girls and boys entering Year 7 to 11 in 2010. Based on the ability to demonstrate contribution to school life in several different areas and an interview with the Principal. Applications close - 29 May 2009. Theatre Scholarships Open to girls and boys entering Year 10 or Year 11 in 2010. Based on ability to demonstrate involvement and background in Performance or Stagecraft and an interview with the Principal. Applications close - 4 March 2009. Dance Scholarships Open to girls and boys entering Year 10 or Year 11 in 2010. Based on demonstrated Dance technique and performance, an audition and interview. Applications close - 4 March 2009.
Music (Instrumental) Scholarships Open to girls and boys entering Year 5, or Year 7 to Year 10 in 2010. Based on outstanding musical ability and an interview with the Principal. Applications close - 4 March 2009.
Music (Voice) Scholarships Open to girls and boys entering Year 7 to Year 10 in 2010. Successful students will have had vocal training and experience in solo performance and choral groups. Applications close - 4 March 2009.
Visual Arts Scholarships Open to girls and boys entering Year 10 and Year 11 in 2010. Successful students will demonstrate outstanding abilities in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the Visual Arts (art, visual communication/design, media and photography) and successful examination and interview with the Principal. Applications close - 29 May 2009. Examinations on 1 August 2009.
The Caulfield Grammarians' Association Scholarship is currently allocated. This is awarded to a child of a past student who is able to demonstrate achievement in several fields of endeavour.
