Secondary Life brings an evolution of our current Learning Program in 2023, mapping student and community voice into a refreshed curriculum.

A Secondary Life Learning Program across our secondary campuses at Wheelers Hill and Caulfield that evolves our delivery of best practice academic offerings as well as broad and diverse experiences for our learners, so they will thrive.

A learning program that promotes community and learner wellbeing through personalised pastoral care.

We have fantastic employment opportunities at Caulfield Grammar

With two Secondary School campuses in Melbourne – Wheelers Hill Campus and Caulfield Campus – there are opportunities to apply for a role at the location that best suits your personal situation.

Career progression opportunities and pathways are a key benefit of our large multi-campus school.

Internal co-curricular involvement opportunities abound for our staff – from our unique Education Outdoors programs at Yarra Junction Campus, our Northern Territory Expeditions Program and much more.

For Educators with a passion for learning, skill and initiative, we’d be delighted to help you progress your career.

A Secondary Teacher’s Day

Wellbeing is at the core of our Learning Program. From 2023, teacher and student wellbeing is enhanced through longer learning periods and planned transition times.

Our secondary teaching load is competitive within the education sector – including generous time allowance for collaborative planning and preparation time during the day.

Our teachers also benefit from less days on campus than the industry average.

We believe everyone can thrive at Caulfield Grammar School.

Co-curricular experiences

Caulfield Grammar School staff have an opportunity to be involved in co-curricular activities, Sports coaching, Music and our extensive Performing Arts programs.

APS Sport is not a compulsory part of the Secondary Teacher role – so participation in the APS Saturday Sport program is an optional part of a teacher load at Caulfield Grammar School. And from 2023 our compulsory APS Sport program will be embedded during the school day on a Tuesday.

These changes will increase access to opportunities in Sport, Music and Performing Arts – providing teachers and students with the ability to participate in a wide spectrum of co-curricular activities in a broad and balanced way.

This supports enhanced wellbeing, increased choice, and a better-balanced day for both students and staff.

A teaching and learning environment to innovate and grow
