At Caulfield Grammar School we take the transition from school to tertiary study and employment very seriously. Our careers development programs are innovative and comprehensive. Careers Advisors at each campus can assist students in determining current requirements for tertiary entry and employment, and students have access to a wealth of career information via electronic databases, regular careers/industries briefings and university and vocational seminars. Work experience and comprehensive end of year program are conducted for Year 10 students.
Students are prepared for the sometimes daunting task of applying for a job by receiving guidance in resume writing and by taking part in simulated employment interviews with parents and past students who lend their support throughout the year.
These resources ensure that students are well prepared to make decisions about their future, and are available even after they have left school.
