Recognising the significant and often rapid changes that occur in girls and boys during the years of early adolescence and the transition from primary to secondary schooling, the staff at Caulfield Grammar work closely to provide a caring environment for our students.
Specialist teams of teachers provide strong pastoral care while also assisting in the academic learning program. These teachers are committed to delivering learning programs using the styles of learning best suited to girls and boys in these year levels.
Secondary level schooling is delivered at Wheelers Hill and Caulfield Campuses, where excellent facilities support an extensive learning program, including information technology, languages, sciences, humanities, the arts and much more.
Our Secondary program includes Learning Mentors in addition to subject specialist teachers for Years 7 and 8, who monitors the academic and pastoral progress of each child in their allocated class group. The Internationalism Program based in Nanjing China recognizes our students will become citizens of the world and provides a five week cultural experience. Learning and Choice Journeys in Year 9 helps prepare students for VCE by empowering them to take control over their learning and development. VCE from Year 10 improves students' pathways to tertiary study and career, tailored individual study programs, the opportunity to sample subjects more widely and a comprehensive induction to VCE unit 3 and 4 study requirements as well as University enhancement programs.
