Our Principal’s Event Series aims to create a culture where we can openly discuss and challenge issues such as gender inequality and mental health, even when it demands us to step outside our comfort zones.

Last month our School community was privileged to hear from four remarkable individuals at our Principal’s Event Series: National Reconciliation Week.

Through powerful storytelling and shared learning, guest speaker Eddie Betts and panellists Lydia Williams (Olympian, Matildas legend and author), Laura Thompson (co-founder and CEO of Clothing The Gaps), and Jane Vadiveloo (co-founder and CEO of Children’s Ground) encouraged our audience to think deeply about how we can all contribute to reconciliation in everyday life – acknowledging the past, engaging in the present and inspiring action for the future.

In a time where conversations are more important than ever, this event was a powerful reminder that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility, and that by walking together we are ‘Bridging Now to Next’.

It was an inspiring night and we thank our guest speakers for sharing their stories and aiding our School and the broader community in its journey towards respect, relationships and opportunities.
