To ensure that gifts are protected, managed responsibly, and make maximum impact in line with the wishes of the donor, philanthropic donations, and bequests, made to Caulfield Grammar School are channelled via our Foundation.
The Caulfield Grammar School Foundation, established in 1979, exists to steward and safeguard philanthropic support for the School. Operating collaboratively, yet independently, from the School Council, its role is to provide strong governance, prudent investment, and responsible oversight of donated funds.
The Foundation Board supports Caulfield Grammar School’s philanthropic ambitions, set by the School itself, by working closely with the School leaders and the Philanthropy team, who are employed by the School.
All gifts are made to the Caulfield Grammar School and are used to advance the philanthropic priorities of the School; transformational Foundation Scholarships, investment in Buildings and Facilities, and expanding Experiential Learning, with the Foundation ensuring funds are managed wisely and for long-term impact.
All funds donated through the Foundation are protected in separate accounts and carefully allocated to the area of interest nominated by the donor. No philanthropic funds are transferred into the general operational accounts of the School.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of Grammarians, current and past parents of the Caulfield Grammar School community who volunteer their time to oversee the work of the Foundation and engage with Foundation donors. Working with the Board is the Philanthropy Team, who support the Foundation’s work and foster meaningful connections with donors and the wider community.
