Bio

The Hon. Kelly O’Dwyer served as the Federal Member for Higgins, a member of Federal Cabinet and Cabinet’s Expenditure Review Committee before her retirement from politics in 2019.

Kelly has held a number of senior economic portfolios including Minister for Jobs and Industrial Relations and Minister for Women; Minister for Revenue and Financial Services; Assistant Treasurer; and Minister for Small Business. Kelly was the first woman to serve in Cabinet in a Treasury portfolio and the youngest woman appointed to Cabinet. In 2018 Kelly was recognised as one of the BBC’s 100 Women.  Before serving in Parliament, Kelly had a career in law and finance.  

Kelly joined the School Council in 2019 and is a parent at the School.
