2025 Music Theatre Awards

As we wrapped up our 2025 Performing Arts calendar, we were thrilled with the following recognition for our students and staff.

Congratulations to our all our talented students for their involvement in these wonderful performances, and to our staff for steering our successful Music Theatre program.

Lyrebird Youth Awards

Our Wheelers Hill Campus production of Midnight: The Cinderella Musical was nominated for 10 Lyrebird Youth Awards in the Youth Musical over $40,000 category AND earned a special Judge’s Award. These awards celebrate Performing Arts excellence across the Eastern suburbs.

• Judges Award for: “The stunning costume transformation and flying effect for Ella’s dress”
• Best Production: Midnight: The Cinderella Musical
• Best Ensemble: Midnight: The Cinderella Musical
• Outstanding Dance Number: ‘Stuffed’
• Best Performer in a Lead Female Role: Meera (Year 12)
• Best Solo Song in a Male Role: Charlize (Year 10) – ‘Stuffed’
• Best Solo Song in a Female Role: Meera (Year 12) – ‘Fly Away’
• Best Set: Dr Dylan Licastro & Patrick Clarke
• Best Director: Dr Dylan Licastro
• Best Musical Director: Malcom Huddle
• Best Choreographer: Pete Tserbis

Caulfield Grammar was also invited to perform ‘Stuffed’ at the Lyrebird Awards Ceremony held on Sunday 7 December.

2025 Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Awards

Caulfield Grammar School received an incredible 2 nominations and 13 commendations for its productions Footloose (Caulfield Campus) and Midnight: The Cinderella Musical (Wheelers Hill Campus).
