The Year 10 Odyssey Program is a defining experience for Caulfield Grammar School students – a chance to step beyond the classroom and into some of Australia’s most remarkable landscapes.
Designed as the peak adventure in our Outdoor Education journey, Odyssey challenges students to explore semi-remote environments of extraordinary natural beauty, while building the skills, values and resilience that will serve them for life.
In 2025, seven unique destinations across the country will host our students. Each location has been carefully chosen to offer both challenge and inspiration – from paddling pristine rivers to climbing rugged cliffs, or walking in the footsteps of the world’s oldest living culture.
Working in small groups, students experience first-hand what it means to live and Thrive Together. They learn to take responsibility not just for themselves but for one another, developing perseverance, collaboration and care for the natural environment. Along the way, they are encouraged to embrace moments of awe and wonder – moments that often become the most enduring memories of their school years.

The Odyssey Program embodies our School Value of Pursuing Excellence – encouraging every student to extend themselves, to test their limits, and to grow as individuals and as part of a community. For many, it is an unforgettable adventure that shapes not just their Year 10, but their outlook on life.
