Malvern Campus

  • Malvern House (also known as ‘Valentines’) is a large Italianate two-storey mansion.
  • Mr John Mark Davies built the mansion for his wife and eleven children in the 1890s.
  • Mr Davies named the mansion ‘Valentines’.
  • In 1913 the mansion was subdivided into flats. 
  • Valentines was purchased by Malvern Grammar School and opened its new campus in 1924.
  • Malvern Grammar School began to merge with Caulfield Grammar School in 1961.
  • In 1970 Malvern Memorial Grammar was renamed Caulfield Grammar Malvern House.

Wheelers Hill Campus

  • Set on the hillside with views to the Dandenong Ranges, Wheelers Hills Campus opened in 1981 and was Caulfield Grammar School’s first co-educational campus.
