Audiences were enchanted this week by ‘Midnight – the Cinderella Musical’, a reimagined contemporary take on the classic fairytale performed by Wheelers Hill Campus Secondary (Years 7–12).

Unlike traditional Cinderella retellings, MIDNIGHT re-imagines its heroine as a force for change rather than a passive dreamer.  With the help of the mysterious Ms Madrina and her talking teddy bear companion, Mr Abernathy, Ella crashes the ball – not to win the Prince’s heart, but to convince him to reform the kingdom.

With themes of empowerment, duty and change, music composed by John Foreman and Anthony Costanzo, and a script written by Dean Murphy and Pip Mushin, MIDNIGHT was an absolute hit with our School community.

Congratulations to all cast, crew and staff on this breathtaking production.
