More than 600 students and families from Years 10–12 filled the Senior School Building for Caulfield Grammar School’s annual Careers & Future Pathways Expo – an event designed to spark curiosity, broaden horizons and empower students to take ownership of their next steps.
Representatives from leading tertiary institutions and organisations – including ACU, Deakin, Monash, La Trobe, The University of Melbourne, RMIT, the Australian Defence Force, Carlton College of Sport, Study & Play USA and many more – joined industry experts to offer personalised guidance and real‑world insights. Across the afternoon, students engaged in meaningful one‑on‑one conversations, exploring university prerequisites and scholarship options, as well as global study opportunities, emerging industries and the practical skills needed for success.
As part of Caulfield Grammar School’s Future Pathways program, the Expo plays a vital role in helping students navigate an ever‑changing world of work. The program is intentionally designed to build confidence, agency and adaptability – qualities that will serve students well as they transition from school into further study, training or employment. For many students, the time was an opportunity to clarify goals; for others, it opened doors to entirely new
interests. Families also appreciated the chance to gather practical information and gain a clearer understanding of the steps involved in shaping a successful post‑school pathway.
