Almost 40 Caulfield Grammar School students volunteered their time at the Walk/Run for REACH in early March, supporting valued partner charity REACH Siem Reap, founded by Shelfordian Emily Williamson.
With more than 250 participants lacing up their sneakers, the Melbourne community raised an impressive $24,000 to support REACH’s vital work in Cambodia. A highlight of the day was hearing Sokly share her story in person – a powerful and moving reminder of the impact of this partnership.
Our students played an integral role in the success of the event, taking on responsibilities across marshalling, raffle ticket sales, event logistics and photography. Their efforts helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all involved.
They represented the School with maturity, compassion and leadership, demonstrating service in action and the strength of community partnership. It was a proud moment to see the tangible impact of their contribution extending far beyond the School gates.
