Mike 于 2016 年 1 月加入考菲尔德文法学校,担任南京校区负责人。在 Mike 担任南京校区负责人期间,校区团队监督了项目的重大发展,在瞬息万变的中国环境中强化了项目最初的学习意图。

Bringing extensive finance experience across Australia and North America, Marc has led large finance teams at Australia Post and The News Group. During 8+ years at Australia Post he held various senior finance positions including Divisional CFO and board member for subsidiary companies Decipha and Securepay. During 10+ years with The News Group, a member of the Jim Pattison Group, Marc successfully drove diversification and integration initiatives addressing systemic business challenges experienced in the magazine and book industry. Marc’s extensive commercial experience will support the next phase of growth for Caulfield Grammar School.
Marc is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Australia and Canada, holds a BA in Economics from the University of Victoria, a post graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Advanced Accounting from BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology). Marc has also completed the Ernst & Young ‘Group of 100’ CFO program.
Marc has three daughters and is active in his local community, volunteering with the Elwood City Soccer Club and sitting on the Finance Risk & Audit Committee along with the Fees & Levies Committee for Equestrian Australia. Marc brings a passion for leading high performing finance teams within a collaborative environment, aligning closely to the Caulfield Grammar School values of Pursuing Excellence and Thriving Together.

Her expertise spans program governance, strategic project and portfolio management, and IT & digital transformation initiatives. She combines strategic oversight with pragmatic execution skills, enabling organisations to successfully navigate change while delivering measurable business outcomes.
Yolanda has been actively involved in the Wheelers Hill Campus community since 2014, when her son Jarod began in Prep. She joined the P&F as a committee member that same year, later serving as Vice President of the Junior School P&F in 2020, Vice President of the Senior School in 2022, before becoming President in 2023. Jarod is currently in Year 11.

With extensive leadership experience, Mark takes great pride in building and supporting high-performing teams. He enjoys working with people, fostering strong professional relationships, and creating collaborative cultures where both staff and students can thrive.
Mark was Head of Science at Haileybury across all five campuses, including Pangea. Prior to Haileybury, he was the inaugural Head of Science at John Monash Science School, playing a key role in establishing the school’s reputation for innovation and excellence in science education. In his time at John Monash, Mark also served terms as Acting Principal and Acting Assistant Principal.
Mark supports cross-campus alignment and high-quality teaching and learning programs.
He enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, going out for dinner and taking his labrador for walks.



Will brings extensive leadership experience across a diverse range of educational settings. He has worked in schools both in Australia and internationally, including roles in Istanbul and Tokyo, and most recently spent 13 years at Elwood College. Throughout his career, Will has held a variety of senior leadership positions, including Head of Physical Education, Head of Mathematics, Year 12 Coordinator, International Program Director, and Assistant Principal.
Will has a strong interest in international education and global educational trends, and in 2017 he completed a Master of Educational Policy (International). He joined Caulfield Grammar School at the beginning of 2025 as Learning Area Leader for Mathematics in the Senior School, before being appointed Head of Middle School in July 2025.
In his role as Head of Middle School, Will values the opportunity to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders across the School community, including students, staff, campus leadership, the school executive, parents and community members. He is deeply committed to collaborative practice and to working with all members of the community to achieve the best possible outcomes for students.
Outside of school, Will has a strong passion for sport, an enthusiasm shared by his two sons. Weekends are often spent supporting their football, basketball, and cricket commitments, as well as cheering on Collingwood at the MCG. As a family, they also enjoy travelling and have been fortunate to experience many remarkable destinations around the world.

With a deep commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care, Claire Jenkinson is a passionate and highly regarded educational leader who values strong, respectful relationships as the foundation for learning. She takes great pride in fostering inclusive school cultures where students feel known, supported and challenged to grow, and where staff are empowered through collaboration, clarity and shared purpose. The explicit teaching of social and emotional skills underpins Claire’s leadership philosophy and approach to whole-school wellbeing.
Claire brings extensive leadership experience across the Middle and Senior Schools. She is currently Deputy Head of Campus and Head of Senior School, having previously served as Deputy Head of Senior School from 2023 to 2025, Deputy Head of Middle School in 2022, and Head of House since 2017. She is widely respected for her work with students, parents and colleagues, and for her ability to lead pastoral initiatives with care, consistency and strategic intent, including the successful implementation of the Senior School Community Time program.
An experienced English and History teacher, Claire has led teams within the English Faculty and previously served as Head of English at Siena College, Camberwell. She has also contributed to whole-school wellbeing through her work on the Visible Wellbeing Implementation Team and the Pastoral Care Review. Claire draws on this breadth of experience to lead with clarity, organisation and a strong focus on student growth, belonging and high-quality pastoral practice.

Chris Snell is an experienced educational leader with a long-standing commitment to Caulfield Grammar School, where he has served since 2009. He has previously led Mathematics Faculties both in the UK and at Caulfield Grammar, and now serves as Head of Teaching and Learning at Caulfield Campus. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the academic program and provides strategic leadership to the Heads of Faculty team.
Recognised for his support of students, educators, and families, Chris leads with compassion, clarity, and a deep respect for the work of teachers. He brings a strong interest in effective classroom practice and holds a firm belief in the capacity of all students to excel.
Chris holds a first‑class Master’s degree from the UK, where he graduated dux of his year. He combines academic expertise with a leadership style defined by humility, empathy, and high expectations. Grateful for his long involvement with Caulfield Grammar as both a staff member and parent, Chris is energised by the opportunities that lie ahead for the School.

Jacinta joined Caulfield Grammar School – Malvern Campus in 2019 as Head of Teaching and Learning (Primary Years Programme). In this role, she leads the delivery of high‑quality teaching and learning across all curriculum areas, ensuring strong alignment with Wheelers Hill Junior School and Shelford Campus. Placing Caulfield’s vision and values at the centre of decision‑making and with a strong commitment to student engagement and voice, Jacinta works collaboratively with staff to enhance learning experiences for all students.
Raised in country Victoria, Jacinta developed an early passion for education and went on to complete a Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Philosophy, at Deakin University in Geelong. She spent 13 years at Kardinia International College, teaching across multiple year levels and progressively taking on a range of curriculum and coordinator roles. Throughout this time, she was recognised for her strong organisational skills, commitment to professional growth and dedication to educational excellence.
Jacinta’s career pathway later took her to Singapore, where she spent four years at the Australian International School, an IB World School. During this time, she further developed her expertise in inquiry‑based learning and instructional leadership within an international context. Deeply committed to the IB PYP philosophy, Jacinta is an IB Workshop Leader and School Visit team member, roles that strengthen her capacity to design and facilitate meaningful professional learning for staff across Caulfield Grammar School.
Beyond her professional work, Jacinta values balance and connection. She enjoys long walksor hikes, live music, jet skiing and spending time with her large, extended family and friends. An enthusiastic traveller and self‑confessed food lover, Jacinta’s appreciation of culture and meaningful shared experiences strongly influences her approach to teaching and learning.

Since joining Caulfield Grammar School in 2016, Sarah has demonstrated outstanding leadership across a range of roles, including Junior School Coordinator, Deputy Head of Junior School, Head of Wheelers Hill Junior Campus and, most recently, Project Lead for Shelford Campus.

Originally from the UK, Sarah migrated to Australia in 2014. Prior to Caulfield Grammar School, during her tenure as a Curriculum Leader and Pedagogical Coach at a brand-new Government school in a rapidly expanding area of Melbourne, she was involved in leading curriculum development and embedding consistent, evidence-based teaching and learning practices in a school experiencing exponential growth. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Canterbury Christchurch University in the UK.
Sarah is an experienced Pedagogical Coach with a keen interest in building data-informed teaching practices. Her area of expertise is a student-centred approach to coaching, where teachers are supported in analysing data and evidence to evaluate learning and teaching and plan high-quality learning experiences that promote student growth.
An avid collector of children’s books and a keen writer herself, Sarah has a particular passion for language and literature, which she shares with students at every opportunity. She strongly believes in schools building a community of readers and writers where students develop a love of language and see themselves as authentic and capable authors. Above all, Sarah is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing educational environment where students are invested in their own learning and ultimately become lifelong learners.

Luke holds a Master of Education in Student Wellbeing from the University of Melbourne and brings over 20 years of leadership experience across diverse educational settings.
Most recently, he has been an Instructional Coach and Team Coordinator at Brighton Grammar School, leading staff professional learning, curriculum design and evidence-based teaching practices. He has also served in senior leadership roles at McKinnon Primary School, including Assistant Principal and Acting Principal, overseeing student wellbeing, staff development and whole school curriculum initiatives.
What distinguishes Luke is his relational, values-driven leadership. He is known for building authentic connections with students, staff and families, and for fostering safe, inclusive communities with high academic standards and a globally minded outlook. These qualities reflect Caulfield Grammar School’s Mind for Life philosophy, making him ideally placed to help shape our Shelford Campus community.

Dr Merinda Bermingham is recognised for her expertise in empowering education and critical thinking. She has served in departmental leadership in Middle and Senior Schools, and as Head of Teaching and Learning, at Haileybury, during which time she oversaw a depth of learning that resulted in record levels of academic attainment. Following 19 years tertiary education, Merinda holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Monash University specialising in critical thinking and critical education. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, a Bachelor of Education (Mon) and a Bachelor of Dance from VCA The University of Melbourne. She is published by Monash University, in Idiom and Creative Education.
Merinda feels deeply privileged to lead at Caulfield Grammar School in her role as Deputy Principal – Head of Wheelers Hill Secondary. Like the students in her care, she is emboldened by the pursuit of a mind for life and the sophisticated, long-term vision of education at our School. Under Merinda’s stewardship and across her leadership experience, she continues to cultivate ambitious, inspired, deeply collegial teams of educators and students.
Merinda is driven by an unwavering conviction in the potential of education to empower the young people in our care to author their lives and worlds. Ngaire Thomson is an experienced and highly respected educational leader with more than two decades of expertise across multiple school settings. She most recently served as Deputy Head of Campus at Ivanhoe Grammar’s University Campus, where she led Year 9 student care and wellbeing, strengthened immersive university partnerships, and provided strategic oversight of teaching and learning.
Previously, Ngaire held significant leadership roles at Haileybury, Yarra Valley Grammar, and other independent schools, where she consistently drove curriculum innovation, strengthened faculty culture, and enhanced academic and wellbeing outcomes across Years 5–12. Known for her ability to build collaborative, high‑performing teams, she has led major strategic projects, delivered school‑wide literacy initiatives, and overseen large-scale faculty transformation.
Ngaire is recognised for her commitment to creating environments where students feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose, and where staff are supported to deliver their best work. With postgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership and extensive experience in curriculum design, wellbeing, and pedagogical excellence, she brings deep expertise, warmth, and vision to her role as Head of Middle School at Caulfield Grammar School.

Phillip Etherington joined our Wheelers Hill Campus in 2026 after 17 years in his previous roles educating and guiding students at another prestigious independent school.
Student wellbeing is at the heart of Phillip’s educational philosophy. Throughout his career he has been known for creating inclusive and safe learning environments that balance academic rigour with genuine care for students’ mental health and personal growth. His classrooms are spaces where students experience both challenge and support, fostering the confidence they need to succeed.
Phillip has served in several leadership positions in the past including: Head of House, Head of Subject (Philosophy, Religion & Society), and multiple roles at the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (Examiner, Chief Examiner, State Auditor, Study Design and Text Selection panel member). These roles have honed his skills in collaborative leadership.
Phillip hopes to cultivate a positive and inclusive environment for Caulfield Grammar School staff and students with a strong focus on community.

David Mason is an experienced educational leader with expertise across the Government and Independent sectors. He joined Caulfield Grammar School in 2013 and was appointed Head of Teaching and Learning in 2020, leading strategic improvement in pedagogy, curriculum design and assessment practice across the Campus.
David has held senior roles including Head of English and Formative Practice Leader and has served for many years as a VCAA English Assessor. His leadership is grounded in the strategic integration of explicit instruction and inquiry-based learning, immersing students in a thinking-rich curriculum that develops creative and critical thinking for life beyond school.
David is committed to working collaboratively with teachers, leaders and students to build coherent, high-impact teaching practices that promote excellence, continuous improvement and student autonomy.

Sandra Tiepermann is an experienced educational leader who believes deeply in the power of relationships, purpose-driven learning, and school cultures where every student feels safe, valued and inspired to grow.
Sandra has extensive and varied leadership experience spanning nearly 20 years in the independent sector. This includes both pastoral and curriculum roles at Haileybury and Huntingtower School. She brings a strong focus on student wellbeing, experiential learning and inclusive practice. She is passionate about creating learning environments that nurture curiosity, resilience and agency, and about designing programs that connect learning with real-world meaning.
Sandra is guided by values of empathy, integrity and optimism. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her commitment to working in partnership with students, staff and families. She believes that the most effective schools are communities where high expectations are balanced with genuine care, and where young people are encouraged to develop confidence, voice and a strong sense of self.
Outside of school, Sandra values time with family, loves all animals, particularly her three cats, and is a passionate ballroom dancer and snowboarder.

Jeannie joined the Caulfield Grammar School community in 2016, bringing nine years of experience in the state school system as a classroom teacher and team coordinator. It was in these early roles that she developed a passion for driving evidence-based approaches to literacy and numeracy; one that continues to shape her leadership today. Growing up across Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Malaysia and Australia has given Jeannie a rich multicultural perspective that she brings to her practice. Since joining Caulfield Grammar School, she has served as a classroom teacher, pedagogical coach, and now Head of Teaching and Learning at the Wheelers Hill Junior Campus.
Jeannie holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) and a Master of Instructional Leadership, both from the University of Melbourne. Spending seven years across her teaching career as a Prep teacher has made her a passionate advocate for literacy and numeracy development from the earliest years of schooling. She believes responsive teaching – meeting students where they are and moving them forward with purpose – is at the heart of great classroom practice. She is deeply committed to raising teacher excellence and fostering a collaborative inquiry mindset, where professional learning is driven by curiosity, shared expertise and a relentless focus on improving outcomes for every student. Equally important to Jeannie is building open, trusting home-school partnerships, knowing that when families and educators work together, students thrive.
Outside of school, Jeannie loves spending time with her family, including her two children and their golden retriever, Lily. A lifelong learner at heart, she is a voracious reader, loves a good word game, and enjoys running, swimming and baking. If she’s not at school, there’s a good chance Jeannie has a book in hand or something baking in the oven.
