European Strings Tour

Students embarked on an unforgettable European Strings Tour over the holiday break – immersing themselves in masterclasses, performances and countless musical & cultural opportunities across Milan, Crema, Cremona, Venice, Lake Bled, Ljubljana, Vienna and Passau before flying home via Munich.

A highlight was our Chamber Strings ensemble taking home 2nd place at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude Youth Music Festival in Vienna! This outstanding achievement earned them an invitation to perform at the official Gala Concert Closing Ceremony. 🎻

Our combined Corelli and Sutherland String Orchestra performance at the Musikverein in the Celebration Section of the SCL Festival was also a wonderful highlight and a fitting reflection of their hard work and commitment.

Beyond their incredible musical achievements, our students were exemplary ambassadors for Australia. They return home with lifelong friendships, deep cultural insights and memories that will resonate forever.

Congratulations and thank you to every student, staff member and supporter who made this incredible experience possible. In particular to our outstanding Music Team at Caulfield Grammar for the enormous amount of work that went into preparing and supporting this tour.
