The launch of Dixon House marked an exciting new chapter for Caulfield Campus, bringing together students in Years 7–12 as part of a vibrant new Secondary School House community.
Named in honour of Emily Dixon, founder of Shelford Girls’ Grammar School in 1898, and inspired by her pioneering spirit and commitment to education, Dixon House seeks to nurture students to lead with empathy, embrace challenges with resilience, and strive to make a positive impact on those around them.
Purple, the House colour, reflects dignity, ambition and creativity, while also acknowledging the rich heritage of Shelford Girls’ Grammar.
