Charlotte's Web

Malvern Campus Production

The Malvern Campus Ballroom was transformed into Zuckerman’s Barn as Year 6 students delighted audiences with their production of Charlotte’s Web, bringing EB White’s beloved story of friendship, loyalty and humility to the stage.

With all Year 6 students involved and a cast representing each of the three classes, the production was a true showcase of talent, teamwork and creativity. Excitement was high as each cast took to the stage, confidently stepping into their roles and captivating audiences with engaging performances.

From the warmth of Wilbur and the wisdom of Charlotte to the colourful characters of the barnyard, students demonstrated impressive dramatic skill, bringing depth, personality and energy to every scene. Their commitment to character, expressive storytelling and thoughtful stagecraft reflected the dedication and preparation that had gone into the production.

The performance combined narration, character-driven scenes and puppetry, creating a rich theatrical experience that highlighted the versatility of the young performers. Students embraced the challenge of live theatre with confidence and professionalism, supporting one another both on and off the stage to deliver polished and memorable performances.

Beyond the applause, the production provided valuable opportunities for students to develop their communication, collaboration and performance skills. Most importantly, it allowed them to experience the joy of creating and sharing a story together.

Congratulations to all Year 6 students on an outstanding production. Their courage, commitment and considerable acting talent were on full display, and they should feel incredibly proud of what they achieved.
