Sporting Highlights

It’s been a wonderful term of student achievement across our Junior & Secondary schools.

State Swimming Champions

Two of our teams were named State Champions at the SSV State Swimming Championships!

  • Our Girls Freestyle team went back-to-back to win this year’s State U12 title, having won the State Championships as U11s last year. They also smashed last year’s time of 2:15.13 with 2:06.62 this year.
  • Our Open Boys/Mixed Medley Relay team, which actually consisted of three girls and one boy, competing against all-boys teams, broke the STATE RECORD and now hold the fastest time in Victoria!
Badminton

Chen Qiu (Year 10, Wheelers Hill Campus) will be representing Australia at the 2026 U16 Shonai Invitational Badminton competition in Japan! Chen has also been selected for a training camp with the NZ national team from 17 June.

The future of Matildas!

Huge smiles from Ava Lopez (U15s) and Sophie Wenk (U16s) who represented Victoria in the Emerging Matildas National Championships!

The Emerging Matildas Championships features Australia’s top U15s and U16s playing against each other in front of national team staff, with groups comprised of Football Australia’s nine State and Territory Member Federations and invitational teams including the Charles Perkins XI, Vietnam Football Federation and Japan Football Academy.
