Congratulations again to Zijin (Aaron) Xu who attained an ATAR of 99.95, placing him in the top 0.01% of students in Victoria, one of only 38 students to achieve this score.
Zijin completed his secondary education at Wheelers Hill Campus, joining Caulfield Grammar School in 2018. In just three years he has made a strong impact within our School and our community.
His VCE subjects reflected a range of interests and included Chinese Second Language Advanced, English as an Additional Language, Mathematical Methods, Physics, Software Development, Specialist Mathematics and University of Melbourne Extension Mathematics.
He has received numerous academic achievement awards across his subjects, along with prizes from the Australian Mathematics Competition, The Melbourne University Schools Mathematics Competition, and at Caulfield Grammar School’s Speech Night.
Zijin has also actively immersed himself in his House (Lumsden) activities – including cross country, public speaking and charity fundraisers. He put his leadership to the test on his Odyssey trip to the Murray River – and also played Badminton, Basketball and Tennis at school.
We are proud of the resilience, dedication, and contribution of our Class of 2020 throughout their time here at Caulfield Grammar School.
