Our Yarra Junction ‘YJ’ Open Day welcomed over 660 guests from our entire School community – celebrating, reminiscing, and immersing in some of the Education Outdoors learning activities that students experience during their journey at Caulfield Grammar.

“There were activities for families and friends of all ages and interests,” explains Sarah Klein, Head of Yarra Junction Campus. “It was fantastic to see everyone get so involved in little snapshots of our student experience out here at YJ.”

These experiences included dawn-baked donuts prepared by Grammarian business Bistro Morgan and sizzling sausages manned by our wonderful cross-campus Parents & Friends committee, as well as adventure and sustainability activities guided by over 30 student ambassadors and YJ staff.

From meeting our YJ dairy herd, making clapsticks with Indigenous educator Ian Hunter, searching for macroinvertebrates in the Yarra River and enjoying live music by our student bands to embracing the knee-quivering Leap of Faith challenge like Principal Ashleigh Martin, it was certainly a community day to remember.
